About us
Who you are appointing
Altex Group d.o.o. is a private company registered in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We act as EU Responsible Person under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 for manufacturers established outside the European Union. Every appointment is signed by our director, and every letter from an authority is read and answered by a person.
Our director
Konstantin Filin is the director of Altex Group d.o.o. and signs every appointment we make. He has spent 17 years in import and export — launching new brands, working directly with factories, and building the product documentation that customs and marketplaces ask for.
He is responsible for the review of every file we accept and for our answers to market surveillance authorities, customs and marketplaces about the products we represent.
He trained as an electrical technician, which is why we read the test reports for cables, chargers and other electrical accessories ourselves before we accept them.

What we do not do
We do not test, certify or approve products: we are not a laboratory, a notified body or an authority. We do not import, store or ship goods. We do not provide packaging EPR representation or VAT registration. Some product categories we do not accept at all — the list is in our Terms of Service.
